Announcements may be made through WikiProject Genetics newsletter.
This is a list of Genetics WikiProject members, together with some of their interests. To join the project, just add yourself to this list. Members are encouraged to add this page to their watchlist to keep up to date with project developments.
The assessment department coordinates article assessments for the project based on quality and project importance. The department collects statistics in cooperation with the Version 1.0 Editorial Team. Assessment requests for articles can be made here. To have an article reviewed, usually prior to gaining a higher-level assessment rating, please see the Peer review section below.
Collaboration is conveyed through WikiProject Genetics/Collaboration of the Month
Newsletters are released as information warrants by WikiProject Genetics' Outreach Department (to be established) through cooperation with WikiProject Council/Newsletters. WikiProject Genetics current newsletter is May 2008.
Genetics article peer review exposes articles to closer scrutiny from a broader group of editors, and is intended for high-quality articles that have already undergone extensive work, often as a way of preparing a featured article candidate. To request a peer review, please follow these instructions.
Requests for translation of genetics articles from foreign-language Wikipedias into English may be posted at Wikipedia:Translation. For translation of genetics articles in the opposite direction (from English to another language), see the translation how-to page.
