A twentysomething is a person in the age group of 20 to 29. Such a person may also be termed a vicenarian. The current crop of twentysomething are people born from December 5, 1978 to December 4, 1988.
The term twentysomething first appeared in the late 1980s as a play on the earlier term thirtysomething from the 1980s television show of the same name in the United States.
