FYI: the Japanese Constitution states that it is “the people with whom resides sovereign power,” not the Emperor. I know it may sound weird, but things were a lot different back when it was written. Check Constitution of Japan, Article One. -- Insomniacpuppy 05:05, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
