Odontodactylus is a genus of mantis shrimp, the only genus in the family Odontodactylidae [2].

Shrimps of the genus Odontodactylus can emmit circular polarized red light with cells in their tail[3]. It look likes theire the only animals who can see circular polarized light. They can also make difference between left and right turning circular polarized light. The cpl light is probably used for sexual communication.
