David Starr Jordan High School is a public comprehensive four-year high school in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, USA.
Some sections of Florence-Graham, an unincorporated neighborhood in Los Angeles County, are jointly zoned to Jordan and John C. Fremont High School. The Gonzaque Village, Imperial Courts, Jordan Downs, and Nickerson Gardens public housing developments of Los Angeles are zoned to Jordan.
The school's ethnic makeup is over 70% Latino, with the rest being mainly African American. The school colors are blue and white and the mascot is a grey bulldog.
The school is named after David Starr Jordan, a leading ichthyologist, educator and peace activist. He was president of Indiana University and Stanford University.
